Job Responsibilities

I was a tenured associate professor of business at Chadron State College before I returned to Utah. I now serve as agency counsel and hearing officer responsible for all agency regulations and administrative dockets for the Utah Department of Commerce. I use economics, law, and Spanish daily. I am actively licensed to practice law in Utah and inactive in Missouri.

Professional Activities & Awards

I am the 2017 recipient of the Chadron State College Teaching Excellence Award and I have letters of accommodation from service in the U.S. Navy.

Campus Involvement

I am an adjunct faculty but I was the CSC Business Academy Chair, I took a group of Business Academy students on the 2018 Study Abroad trip to England and Ireland, I was the Study Abroad Committee Chair, I served on the Essential Studies Committee, and I was a peer reviewer with ACBSP and HLC.

Research & Professional Interests

I enjoy researching law and economics, administrative law, commercial law, and international business law with Latin America. I am a member of the State Bar of Utah where I serve as a bar exam grader and on the Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee.
